79 Formula 400 4 Speed WS6 Value for Insurance
« on: December 16, 2014, 05:55:21 PM »
I need to get classic car insurance and I am unsure as to the market value on the car. Thought you guys could help. Thanks.

1979 Formula

W72 400 (Coded as L78 in 79)
Super T-10 4 Speed
WS6
Positive Traction - 3.23
Formula Appearance Package
Deluxe Vinyl Interior
A/C
Rear Defrost
Cruise
Power Windows and Door Locks

The car is a one owner with 101,000 miles. If it matters, I have all the original paperwork including dealer invoice, options list, brochures, manual, etc. I even have the original keys from the dealer with the dealer tag still on them.

get it appraised by a pro, which is usually what you need from an insurance co.  i would put classic car insurance on it and antique plates, cheapest way to go.

Thanks. I'll do that. I guess the classic car insurance company would have someone to do the appraisal.  I'll find out. I will be calling Hagerty today.
