I am starting to search and gather parts for my '76 that I just picked up, I was wondering it the fenders are different for the '76? Also does anyone know how the lower front bumper sides mounts to the fenders?
-
Fenders are the same 70-81 aside from an additional bracket on early 70-73 years, and no the bumper just rests against the fenders, real pain to fit
-
There is also an additional bracket (I assume Eroc022 is commenting on) that holds the front bumper on a 76. I have been told that they are year specific. Mine has them...

I guess I should clarify...
If you ment the specific bracket for a 70-73 fender should have included a 76 I agree.
I cannot comment on any years other than a 76 and a 79. ( I have both)
The bracket I am talking about is on the front of the fender. I was told by others that know a heck of a lot more than me that this bracket is year specific.
