WS6 Snowflake rims
« on: December 22, 2010, 09:24:50 PM »
I have a set of professionally restored WS6 snowflake rims that were on my 78TA that was destroyed I also have the reproduction center caps and chrome lugnuts that are going to be available soon they still appear to be in mint condition and I will be. Able to send pics via text as early as tomorrow I am not sure what I can get for them, they were on my car for about two years and I payed in excess of $1100.00 for all of it any suggestions? If there is an interest please email your cell # and I can send you pics, my only "computer" is my cell phone and this is the only way I have figured out to send pics thanks email address is christhorstenson@Gmail.com

Is this the guy whose car was stolen and found set on fire in the projects?

If so,  it still sickens me after talking with you.

Yes, my car was stolen and burned (mainly the interior and back quarters, part of front fenders) motor, tranny, rearend and rims were all pretty much unharmed though.  It is all gone minus the rims, I want a fair price for the rims though, and if I don't get it they will be put on my 81.  I paid around $1100.00 for them and I would like $700.00 for them with lugnuts and centercaps-that is fair isn't it? These were bought from the Guy on eBay whose handle is something like tata455. Anyways, I don't get a chance to check site to often, my email address is listed above can text pics, thanks.

I did get the pictures but they are 79 and later rims (machined edges).  They wouldn't be right for my 78's.

Thanks, my car was not restored to original, and I preferred the appearance of the machined edges, guess I thought they were correct for car, sorry if I mislead anyone I thought the machined edges were post 77 instead of 78!!

No, I figured they were machined edges.  You didn't mislead anyone.  Most everyone prefers the machined edges....and there are some people who contend that the machined edged 15X8 rims were actually installed in the later part of 78.
