hi everyone. I am new to all this. I had a 74 firebird back in highschool and I recently picked up this beauty of a 77 and I am rebuilding a 69 Pontiac 400 to go in her....I think she's great, but she's far from done.
I managed to pick her up for $5000 and the interior has been refinished already. new hurst T-tops, new springs and shackles, the rear end has been done with a newly rebuilt 3.73 posi. the tranny is a rebuilt  turbo 400 with a B&M stage 2 shift kit and a 2800 stall converter with a B&M ratchet shifter inside.
Now i'm rebuilding the motor. A 1969 Pontiac 400. new forged pistons .030 over. complete with new cam, lifters, rods, rockers, and newly rebuilt heads. She' gat a holley intake manifold now with a holley 650 double pumper carb.........hopefully it'll be in this weekend....lots of work has been done so far, yet i'm far from done

The guy I bought it from was in the process of trying to restore it. the interior is completely finished, factory black. Minus the radio. the underside has been re-done, minus the trunk floor. And the paint is original still. The engine doesn't match the serial number of the car, but it's even better....it's a 400 built in 1969, which is the year before they put the restrictions on factory horsepower output. It's an early XH block that (according to my research and help from my local Pontiac dealer) put out 365 hp from factory. I honestly don't think the guy I bought it from knew what he had....I bought it for $5000...I think I stole it from him haha
as soon as I can figure out how to shrink the pics I've got i'll post some more
