Is this a bad or good motor? I know i ask noob questions but i dont know much about engines lol

I believe the common 350 pontiac used in 1978 was the "L" or Chevrolet.  It's a great engine.  The 350 had 15 less horsepower than the 403 and 10 less than the 400.  It had 50 less horsepower than the 400 with the W72 upgrade.
