Very impressive, the hood tilt looks awesome and really shows off the Bird artwork.

How is it as far as performing maintenance and such?  It looks much simpler to implement than having the whole front end tilt forward. :-\

Thanks for posting that Jeff!
Years ago, I went to a shop, and asked how much to convert my hood on my car that way.
They told me over 2 grand.
Next, I may go lambo doors.
Right now, I am torn between a 455 or turbo 3.8 GN motor in my modded '81 Trans Am.

I've been planning on doing a hood tilt as well, what equipment did you use?  Cost?  Labor involved?

I looks awesome!

That price at Summit is actually only about half what that kit goes for other places. They also have the hood latch kit. I was thinking about that too, but not on the current project.

Wow!!! I've always really liked the hood bird on this car, but the new graphics really make it stand out. It's a beautiful TA.

Now that is impressive....that hood arrangement shows off the custom bird beautifully.
If you could post up some close up pics of the whole hinge and lock arrangements I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.....great for engine access, too.
Well done!
