Started pulling apart the front end???????????? ready to junk remains solid sub frame,rear frame solidcore support good no rust, 4 speed saginaw trans the whole deal ,possi rear.   Any ideas  thanks

are you sure its a saginaw? most I seen have been muncie or borg-warner.... a saginaw would not hold up to the turque a factory poncho puts out...but being a 80 model its possible

This 1980 transam is an original 301 mtr not sure if they offered a sag in 1980 ????.THIS work was done to beef up this transam ,it has a possi rear end also.The front nose was changed to a 1978  decals to boot dave.

Just to respond about the tranny...  all 1980 TA's were originally automatics due to the gov. regulations for that year.   So it has definatly been swapped out.

thanks for your sympathy.THIS was a nice transam.I think ill sell the rest off thenk put it to rest next weekend. I will keep the possi rear end ,the saginaw also,cut the body pieces thst are not burned up.

yes it was a big loss.This transam is almost at the end of its life the sub frame is gone/sold $100.00.the rear end 4 speed saginaw the drive shaft and some sheet metal is all that is left.

This old bird has been sold.The new owner is going to take good care of her.I am glad i found yet another bird a new home.

Looks like it rolled on the roof and somebody tried to weld/skew something back on.



Best of luck to the new owner - seriously, hope he/she's able to salvage it.

I will take fare well pics of the 1980 smoken t/a. The guy was supposed to pick it up last week then last night now today.
