another ? about 77-78 bird

look at this guys description and tell me if it's true about the two differant noses,i don't think there were two options...

I never heard of it, guess that puts me in the majority if true.  If they are two parts then there should be 2 part numbers which would be easy to find in the 78 parts manual.  Looks like a decent car though. Needs quite a bit of work.

That would mean two different types of grills for the '78. Otherwise one wouldn't fit right in the other.

I e-mailed him about a part number for this "sleeker" nose...and wrote that I didn't know there was more than one style....still waiting for a reply.   :)

Hey Brett, looks like you got a winner here.  Is that a W72 engine with the incorrect air cleaner base?  Why don't you post some pictures as you work your magic on this one.  This will be a very nice car when you get done with it.

I emailed them about a steering wheel and they said that they were an affiliate of Hitmans TA Specialties.    :o
