76 trans am value
« on: April 08, 2011, 12:27:33 AM »
Im looking to pick up another car. Guy says its a true black/black gold 50th anniversary car. Non t-top. Cowl tag doesnt verify anniversary code but im ordering the PHS docs to verify. Gonna need paint and interior work. No rust. Not original 400 block(but that will come with the car) but the engine in it has had several grand dropped into it. Automatic car. It will probably take $4500 to buy it. Does that sound like a fair price? Seems a little high to me but it looks like most everything is there for a restore.

Thoughts...

If it is a 50th, then the price is good.

Well i got the PHS docs back today and it has the Y82 package so i guess were legit. Looks like i may have another T/A in the garage soon. I still havent finished my 76 silver/firethorn 455/4speed yet. I think i need some counseling....

Very nice - congratulations Godrokz and welcome to the 76 T/A club.  I'll be anxious to hear what PHS has to say about LE or non-LE.  Did you find a build sheet?  The silver dash would indicate non-LE - should be gold.  But it does have the gold-spoked steering wheel.  Is there a bird emblem on the nose?  What color is it?
