I found a guy that has a 76 Trans am that is complete but in poor condition. It needs frame rail work, quarters, doors, possible roof, etc.He bought the car many years ago to restore for his son and never did anything with it. At the same time he bought various GM parts and have had them in storage since.I He does not want to sell anything separately. He wants it to all go as one package.I only need some stuff, so i though about making a offer, taking what I need then selling the rest to recoupe the money. I am looking for a ballpark value to consider making a offer. Below is a list of the parts that come with the car.
GM#1670017 X2   upper window channels                                        GM#9868731 X1  windshield side moulding
GM#9858880 X1   roof weatherstrip                                                 GM#9605610 X1  drip rail moulding
GM#9858881 X1   roof weatherstrip                                                 GM#9605611 X1   drip rail moulding
GM#9738216 X1   back window moulding                                          GM#20160305 X1  Full quarter panel
GM#9738211 X1   back window moulding                                          GM#20160304 X1  Full quarter panel
GM#9815565 X1   Left door moulding                                               GM#526825 X1  Right front wheel spoiler
GM#9612540 X1   outer window felt Decor package                           GM#526826 X1  Left front wheel spoiler
GM#9612541 X1   outer window felt Decor Package                           GM#526829 X1  Rear wheel spoiler
GM#9868730 X1   windshield side moulding                                       GM#526830 X1   Rear wheel spoiler
GM#500988  X1    Front lower spoiler                                                GM#400771 X4  Honeycomb trim rings (I think)
GM#3060942 X1    Trunk weatherstrip                                              GM#9868430 X1  Door weatherstrip
GM#494476  X1    Nose emblem                                                      GM#9868431 X1  Door  weatherstrip
GM#492667  X1   Headlight bezel/chrome plastic                               GM#492668  X1    Headlight Bezel/chrome plastic
GM#20099254 X1   Door handle                                                       GM#20099255  X1  Door handle
GM#9795568  X4  Honeycomb center caps                                       GM#3912089  X2   Rocker moulding
GM#2136317 X1  Unknown                                                            GM#2136316  X1  Unknown

Along with the NOS parts and car, a full set of good used honeycomb wheels, extra front nose and other misc. used parts come with the car. The car is rough and may be better for parts, but is complete and should run.Does anyone have any idea of a value range for everything as a package?

Thanks

Nice find!  I'm relatively new to the TA world but I would start with the car
Rotted out complete car $ 800

Then the nos parts
These are tough to value but in my search for flares and quarters I can tell you that you would get around 3k just for those!

So my 2 cents would be somewhere around $4000?

If you buy it I would be seriously interested in the quarters

NOS flares on eBay- around $150 each.  The 1 year only front center spoiler- $250 or more.  Quarters (left & right) around $2500. I think grubbano is spot on with his estimate.

A rotted out car is really not worth too much.  You might be close.

He said that he wants $3500 for everything he has and I don't think he will go any lower right yet. I am kicking it around.I was hoping to get it around $3000 then part the car, and just about all the NOS except for weatherstripping, front headlight bezels, nose emblem, and honeycomb parts.

$3000 cash money is pretty much the same as $3500 cash money in a situation like you are thinking about investing in.
If he wants $3500 --- That pretty much means, your $3000 cash will get all of it and I wouldn't be surprised if the guy throws in some other odds and ends laying around the shop.

Everything is in NJ.If I do get the bundle I will be selling most of it and don't mind shipping to anyone who is interested in buying. He does seem pretty firm on $3500 but I am waiting to hear back a definite answer.

I am going to be looking at a 76 this weekend, so if you get the car and all the parts, I will be needing some parts.

He still hasn't made a decision. I could probably get all the parts for $3000, but I am trying to get him to throw in the car also.
