Aftermarket brakes for a 1st gen Camaro...
« on: May 20, 2011, 07:31:21 AM »
Will it work?

I am looking here:http://www.classicperform.com/camaro.htm

More specifically at this package: http://www.classicperform.com/Store/1967_1979_Chevy_Camaro/6774FRBP11.htm

If you look around there are two different versions, 9" booster and 11" booster + an upgrade option.  They are both listed for a '67 Camaro but I really don't know how different it all is from 2nd gens.

I really want to upgrade to better brakes; at least get 4 wheel discs for a decent price (without swapping axles...is that possible?)

I haven't thought about doing this much because most kits I see are $3000+ for just the front or just the rear and that is just too expensive.  I don't worry about the size, I would like to get 17" wheels, but only after I upgrade the brakes.

Input is appreciated and if you have any other product suggestions, please share!
