Can any one take a picture of the battery installed on the driver side with the hold down in place.  This is the tray I have made by goodmark

You will aslo need this part for the battery hold down, I just had to do this also.
When I bought my car it had no hold down in it.
By the way when you buy these parts in does not come with the nut and washer, you will have to find your own.
Hope this helps

There's a loop on the radiator support that the little hook goes into.  Then there's a J hook that connects to slot (top of your picture) on the battery tray and goes through the loop on the battery bracket.  A nut a washer completes the assembly.  They sell all that stuff at Ames.

The other part you need is the same part that is used for your spare tire hold down, kind of looks like a j hook.
NPD has the same part numbers for them

I'd check with Ames ( www.amesperf.com ) first.

#FP153 1976-1981 BATTERY HOLDDOWN CLAMP (GM) $15.50

#FP157  1970-1981 BATTERY HOLDDOWN CLAMP BOLT. 5/16 X 18 X 10" (RE) $6.00

Correct parts at a better price ;)
