Mint set Silver (Mirrored) Fisher T-tops Wanted
« on: February 26, 2011, 03:24:31 PM »
Ok, I am looking for a set of mint condition Silver Fisher T-tops.  They are the mirrored ones that only came on the 10th Anniversary Trans Am or the 1980 Pace Car. I do not want anything with scratches on the glass or wear marks on the tint on the inside, or broken frames.  So I am looking for a mint set or as close as possible. As you all know my car has a "Black and Silver" theme to it and I wanted to replace my grey T-tops with a set of mirrored ones or have both actually.  Here are some photos of what I want to do:

Grey (Current)

Silver (maybe)

Grey

Silver

If anyone has any or know where some are, shoot me an email or send me a PM and let me know.  I would like to see photos as well when you contact me.  Thanks for your time.

Went and looked at those t tops earlier today. They turned out to be the grey type, off of a 78 brown t-a. They are in the fisher bags, but there not perfect. He told me over the phone they were silver. They have the chrome drip on them. Interior plastic is cracked, and handles are missing, I have a set of handles, If any one is interested pm me. The guy's asking $250.

Hitman: I think your car would look sweet with silver tinted t-tops :) Even sweeter then it already does ;)

HITMAN, if once you get your mirrored tops and you want to sell your grey, hit me up. I have a nice set, but I'm wanting something even nicer and these look like the ticket. About have my 79 restored and these would be the icing on the cake.

I don't mean to hijack the thread here, but I was wondering if anybody made any GOLD mirrored Fisher tops. I would guess that they were on SE cars, and probably hard to get ahold of. Just wondering if they do in fact exist?

Any parts that I remove from my car to replace with non-stock parts, I still keep the original parts incase I ever weant to go back to stock. So any non-stock part on my car has the original counterpart in my basement somewhere in case it ever wants to go back on. So if I find a set of mirrored T-tops, mine will go into storage until they are needed again.

And Gunner, to answer your question...

INTERESTING..............VERY interesting.............I'll bet that those are expensive AND hard to get ahold of. I'm wondering if that would be a little TOO much for my car. Green with gold, yes, but I wonder if the gold tops would be, well, too over the top.

Okay, don't blame you. If anyone runs up on a set of smoked Fisher tops that are a 8 or 9 on a scale of 10......I know, I know, good luck. Anyway, please let me know. Thanks

Me like the gold t-tops. Gold is going throught the roof right now...pun intended.
