Title: 100 mph speedometer color???????????

Does anybody know why there is 2 different colors of the 100 mph speedometer out there. The one in my car is bad and its the mustard color Ames and the ones on ebay are a blueish color.

Ya , I dont know why the kmh is gold on the 79's  .  do you need a speedo?   
I have one with 69826.8 miles on it.  and looks new.

No, I bought one off ebay and it works great just has the blue numbers. Just wondered why and if means anything.
