OK so I am going to be looking for a new set of headers for my car. Any suggestions or are they all pretty much the same? I am sort of locked into headers because my brand new stainless custom exhaust is set up for headers. I knew this was coming because the guy that did my exhaust pointed out some pinholes in them that he patched up with a welding rod. I have to take the headers off to pull the engine because of clearance issues so I guess now is as good a time as any to replace them. Besides ugly rusty headers just won't match my freshly painted engine.

dougs headers are numbero uno choice for me

Same here. They are a bit on the pricey side but well worth it. They have 3/8" flanges on both ends and are ceramic coated.
Here are some pics to give you an idea:

Thanks. I just hope it runs as good as it turned out.

just spend the extra dough for equal length headers as they produce a much better sound

Thanks Again. I will let you know how it does. I should have it running around mid May. At work we are in the middle of a plant wide overhaul so I will be working for the next 52 days straight. No time for the T/A but by the end I'll have all of the parts I need.

They also scavange the exhaust gasses better because the cylinders will have equal back pressure.
