Topic: 1978-1981 fender flares and spoiler on a 1974 Trans Am

Hey guys, i have a question, hopefully somebody knows the answer... I have a 1974 Pontiac Trans Am,  I need front fender flares and a front spoiler, I live in the Netherlands, so it's very difficult to get those here. However, I'm in a position to buy a coupe of aftermarket front fenders and a front spoiler made for a 1978-1981 Trans Am. The underspoiler is a lot thicker but the fender flares are looking te same. My question is: can anybody tell me with certainty that those can and will fit my Trans Am? I would be greatfull if somebody could give me some advice, thanks a lot!!

Wheel flares for 70-78 are all alike. Then 79-81 flares are alike. Both styles will fit on any year to my knowledge but just won't be "correct".

Thank you very much for your answer,  I really appreciate it! offcourse it would be better to have the original ones, but they are very hard to come by here (read: impossible). My other, maybe even more important question is: will the thicker front spoiler fit, the original one for the 1974/1975 model seems to look a lot thinner. If I order the set, there is no return policy, i will not buy it from a  store, but from a private induvidal by mail, so there won't be any possibillity to do any fitting upfront. If you also have the answer to this question, again, it would be greatly appreciated by me!

As far as the flares, I don't blame you. Gotta use what you can get. I'm sorry, I can't comment on the front spoiler though. My car is a 77. I'm sure someone with a 74/75 will chime in at some point.
