$1800 for the paint ? Is that what its cost you ? OMG.

If you really want to go into cardiac arrest, look at Dupont or House of Kolors cost. easily double if not close to triple that. Materials are not cheap like most assume.

I am, for that price i could shoot my car from start to finish in HOK.

I know when i was last over i went into a PPG distributors with Jeff and was gobsmacked at the prices, i f only there was a way of shipping it across cheaply................ we have a huge choice of paint here in the Uk and many painting systems.

Doug, sorry to hear about the family stuff, i hope it resolves itself.

I just got a qt of urethane primer & hardener today , to finish coat the body work on the hood and 2 bumpers.  48.00 :P


the last of the parts that needed done, are ready for wet sanding , sealed and paint.  maybe by the weekend.

Steve President Obama is over your way right now,I'm sure you will meet him when he meets the Queen let all of us put in our order and let him bring  all of the supplies on air force one. I will need Marina blue paint,thinner ohh and some of those wooden paint sticks if they are free. Just tell the President  we will pay him back. P.S. don't take a check from him.

tested the new paint /clear .   :o  ;D  2000 wet sand, buffed and polished.

should be done Sunday.  then start put Humpty Dumpty back together.  also got my seat cover from Hitman today.
