Topic: honeycomb wheels in gold

Im justt starting my searching so Im looking more for info than parts at this point.  My BF wants a set of original honeycomb rims in gold. Im trying to help him get them.  Ive started looking around and Im not seeing much so they must be pretty rare.  What can I expect for a fair price for a set in decent condition?  Thanks for your input!

do you mean actual honeycomb rims like on earlier cars 70-76? or what comes on later 78-81 trans ams called snowflakes?  the snowflakes are not rare at all & can be found used in gold for $400 or less depending of course on condition & you can alwyas refinish them professionally or just polish up & repaint yourself.  they also sell new 15x8 & 17" snowflakes for a very good price. 

the older honeycombs are a little more rare but used ones usually need to be restored & repainted.  they can vary in price from $50-75 each or $100+ ea depending on condition.  i have a set of the honeycombs i can finish in gold or silver if thats what youre looking for.  send me a message for more details.
