whats the best way to drain the gas tank on a 78

cut a hole in the bottem of it with with a tourch


i would drop it by setting a board on a floor jack and putting it under the tank and droping it out to drain it.

or if the filler tube has ben damaged you could siphon the gas out

I usually have the other problem - keeping them full !

I'd drop it as well but hopefully you don't have a full tank otherwise it's siphon time.
