1980 Trans Am value??
« on: September 09, 2015, 02:15:22 AM »
Hey there, I was just wondering what all of you guys figure my car is worth? I have a 1980 trans am with the 4.9 301 auto. Its a number matching 100% original including exterior, paint (which it needs since its faded), windshield, tires, brakes, driveline, engine, interior, ext... It has 27,387 original kilometres. Also has all manuals that came with the car like the firebird manual, delco stereo system manual, replacing your spare manual, and the maintenance booklet which is blank. All manuals are in mint condition with no color fading. It has power windows, cruise, tilt steering, cloth seats, but no T-top. I am also the third owner. The car is white with the blue and gold bird and the gold honeycomb rims. Any advise is greatly apreciated, thatnks in advance.

Thats a hard one, but don't sell, I believe the 80 and especially the 81s are the next car s to keep. Alot of peopls don't care for the 301 engines and threw alot of them away. And as alway, condition is  a factor.

sounds nice. i had a new 1980 ontario grey. all 80s were automatics. 3 differnt 301 engines. 4.9 litre, t/a 4-9 and turbo 4.9. i had the t/a 4.9. had more hp than standard engine. i think electronic spary control was the major difference.
wish i could have any of my 3 t/a s back.
