Topic: windshield install

does anyone have any tips on installing a windshield. im going to do myself and im 90 percent sure how to do it but does anyone have any tips or tricks etc. like sealer or glue to use primer for the winshield. i would have it professionaly done but when my friend has his done they didnt line it up right and he  has a 1/2 gap between the moulding and the glass and it isnt sticking good so it leaks so im not going to spend 100.00 to have some just off the grocery line at shoprite, pot smoking, dont know what a screwdriver is, thinks a muffler bearing is a actual part dumb a** install it my glass for me

Here's a tip, find a good glass guy and have him install it.  Well worth the money in my opinion.  But, like you've described, you need a good guy, otherwise you'll get a botched job.
