Who's online bar
« on: November 07, 2011, 09:46:50 PM »
The who's online bar blocks a posting to where it cannot be selected.  Is there a way of minimizing the bar so it doesn't cover anything up?  Am I the only one experiencing this?  I also could be doing something wrong.  Any help or advice is appreciated.
Thanks

What do you mean by "Blocks a posting"? Can you take a screen shot?

Do you mean it looks like this? If so, just click on the who's online again at the bottom or the X and it will minimize it back to your task bar.  Are you asking if there is a way to leave it up enough to see the names but shrink the box down where it doesnt cover the text in a post

Thanks for the reply ,but what is happening is when I go to a forum topic like trans am tech-mechanical, or electrical when the different postings are listed, the long thin who's online bar covers up one of the posting subjects and I cannot select it.  This might just be happening on my IPAD and not the computer.  I will have to get on the computer and check it out.
It's not the drop down menu, I know how to minimize it once opened, but the long thin online bar .  Is the bar supposed to be located at the top of the page?  Mine seems to hover around the middle of the page.  Don't know how to take a screen capture.  Is it possible to take one from an iPAD?  The bar is right below this sentence  2/3rd's down the dialog box.

PC Wise, I'm not seeing the issue. - XP SP3 with Firefox.

Smart phone wise - yep its a major headache. Samsung Galaxy S ii, Android 2.3 with the Dolphin HD Browser. It'll start scrolling to the bottom of the page and then that "Who's Online" bar will stop dead middle over top one of the topics and from there, it appears pinned. Rather annoying.

I wil see if there is a way for members to select to have the chat bar open or not or see if people can disable it on their own.
