Washed My Car

First wash in a looong time, no waxing or anything just straight up water and soap. Also got her taken into a local shop today to get some work done.

Man my first 79 had a white nose and white hood on a black car for a little while before I threw some paint on it. It was called the "Oreo" around town even after I painted it. And some even call my current car the "Oreo".

Red and white makes a "Candy cane" so watch out LOL!

Looking good my man!

getting leaks and starting issue fixed, as well as exhaust and gas gauge adjusted. i would prefer my car to be one color over multiple lol. Hard to say an exact date because im not sure of how much my bill will be from the repair center.

It sounds like it shouldn't be too expensive

I figured it would be around $600, i was right...kinda. Im looking at $600 before any leaks get adressed which will be another $600-$700 to get leaks done for a grand total of $1200-$1400...just friggin great. Unfortunately it has to get done because my property managers are being stupid...so paint is on hold for at least a month. They will have to pull motor/tranny to do it.
Started working on my rims in the meantime though.

Those wheels turned out great!  What color are you going to go with on the car?
