7/19/08 Grafton Cruise-in

After hitting the car show in Hampton, I tooled up to the Hampton Roads Harley-Davidson dealership in Grafton for it's weekly cruise-in.  There didn't seem to be as many cars there as in the past, but same of that may be due to the new cruise-in site up in Williamsburg and some of it may just be due to the economy and cost of fuel.

A 1967 Cougar and a 326 Tempest...it's really nice to see some thing different. I really like Cougars but don't see many of them around. With all the GTOs out there, some really nice Le Mans and Tempests get over looked.

Thanks for the pics.

I like the fact that the 71-2 Malibu, is still a Malibu, not a Chevelle SS clone.

I like the fact that the 71-2 Malibu, is still a Malibu, not a Chevelle SS clone.

That's because it's a local original owner car, and the older gentleman who owns it has no interest in selling it.

Looks like a great show! Thank for the pics. Glad I get to see the "shows" here on the forum as I have missed alot of shows here in Ohio myself because mostly I am working or something else comes up. Besides, I just moved to Ohio a year ago and I still dont know where everything is :-\ Whereas when I live in NC, I tried to go to as many as shows as I could. I could go because I had lived there all my life until last year.
