Year One puts alot of expensive parts and fabrication into each BRE T/A- I wonder why they put such basic looking gauges into the dash. I like Ultra-Lites but some Cobalts, Phantoms, or even Pro Comp Autometers would have looked alot better IMO.

$130k? I wonder if that's just for the BRE stage I. But they are filled with alot of expensive parts and the labor to build a T/A to the BRE's level of detail is definitely not cheap (plus the Burt Reynolds royalty fees- $5k? Wow!). Still though, if money were no object I would just have Year One build me a BRE III (with Pontiac power of course).

I'd probably buy it for $40K.  $60K is too much.

I wouldn't sell it if it had T-tops.... but since it is a hardtop car... yeah, I would let it go.

If he won that car, he had to pay income tax on it.  I wonder what it was valued at when he got it.  That would probably push him to the top tax rate.

This is one of the prototype cars.

Present owner bought it at an auction a year or so ago.  Think he paid $57,000 - $59,000 for it.

The Ebay auction that ends today has a bidder, so looks like it will sell.
