I would think that the BRE T/A would go for over 30k

See, I'm not saying that a T/A isn't worth 30 K to "Somebody" but to me, no Trans Am is worth 30K at all... I'd much rather have a 69 Chevelle or a Hemi Cuda. I do like Mopars better than Trans Ams, but of course I do have a firebird, so it means a lot to me. But my dad has a Charger so I like those cars too. Really mean looking cars.

No, I'm serious.  My neighbor sold his 426 hemi engine from his old Cuda last year for $11,500.  Then he sold a totally rusted-out 1970 Panther Pink Challenger T/A for $$21,000 to a Mopar collector in Michigan.  If I find a hemi Cuda in any kind of shape for $30k, I'll get it.

So that means that my dad's 70 Charger with the original 318 is worth something then. I mean it's got the original interior and everything, real straight body even the original vinyl top in perfect shape.

It's crazy how Mopars are so expensive now,  even without the engine they still fetch a ton of money.  It's amazing how Cuda's weren't so popular when they came out but now they're the cherry on the muscle car sundae.

I think Mopars just look and sit way meaner than any other muscle car, camaro, firebird, nova etc. The Chevelle is the closest to the mopar stature. They're powerful, rarer than Chevy's, not that I care, but you see way less old Chargers and Challengers than you do say Camaros for instance. He wants a Cuda pretty bad, but whenever we start talking cars he winds up saying this, and I quote "Hell I wan't one of everything, a cuda, a challenger, a 67 chevelle and a 67 el camino" We just like these old cars. Not too hot on mustangs, but a mach 1 would be ok I guess.

Yeah I dont think so. My dad's not a huge Pontiac Guy. The only reason he is even remotely interested in these cars now, is because we just happened to find my car for a reasonable price so we went for it by chance I suppose. He likes GTO's and Lemanses all right I guess, but as I said a Chevelle is what we really want bad!! ... Just not much cash sittin around for this that and the other. He needs a shop more than another car.

yes i think most of us here would love to have a mopar but our wallets do not allow 10-25,000 for a rotted out project.
I think the reason you hardly see a mopar is for a few reasons
1 they rotted out fast and hard
2 alot got totalled out
3 anyone who has a project wont let off it or so it seems but they never do anything with it.
