Hi,
I'm Ali from Brisbane Australia.  I have a black 78 Trams Am which I have for about 3 1/2 years.  I bought it from a young guy who had just bought a house and needed the money for furniture. He was so sad when I drove it out of his driveway and I was so happy.  What a bargan.  Perfect interior and slight marks on the paintwork at the back and looks great. Love going to car shows, swap meets and cruises.

Great Site.
It's all fun and games until the Cops turn up.

I grew up in Trenton, neighbor! How's the TA search?

Anyone else in Metro Detroit? There are a couple of pretty good cruise-ins we could meet up at!

I have found one on collector car trader online  that is in southgate which is a 5 minute drive from here.I have been trying to get a hold of them for a week or so and no one will answer the phone.
I know they still have it because they lowered the price from $1,600 to $1,400 yesterday.
I will try calling a little later today.

Hi im darren im 26 and from uk near London

Ive owned a couple of 77/78 trans ams plus a few other American cars. my last 2 t/a were in quite bad shape , my first one i owned when i was 18 and it used to burn as much oil as it did petrol and 2nd one was quite rotten especially on top of dash round arches and rear screen unfortunatley i did not have funds or skill to restore

after a 5 year break from t/a s i have owned 88 camaro 2 80s el caminos a 86 chevy celebrity convertible , iam now back on right path though and have 77 t/a special edition clone on way from ta Specialties , as can be seen in signature,

i do not have the knowledge that alot of people on this forum have, but i enjoy reading everyones comments and  learn a lot of stuff at same time  :D

Hi All...My name is Kevin and I'm a 41 yr old gearhead from Nova Scotia Canada. I had my first bird when I was 18, an 81 Formula with the turbo wheels, 4 wheel disk and the 5.0L. I paid $5000.00 canadian for it. It was silver with the charcoal bottom. Red/orange somewhere on it too if I recall, maybe a stipe along the bottom and around the hood scoops? This car was absolutely pristine until...my old Dodge aspen winterbeater ran dry of oil and seized the engine, I had to pull the formula out of storage, got drunk at a bar one night with it and hit a snow/ice bank on the way home with it. Drove the front wheel up into the fender and wrikled it. I was sick. I traded it for a Jeep CJ7...thats a whole other story.
It wasn't until 1995 when I split with my girl at the time and found my Black 81 TA. Had a bit of minor rust and very solid. Just doing a major on it right now. New engine, paint, decals(soon I hope:-}, weatherstrips, added posi and 4 wheel disk. Old interior goes back in this year, new next year. Be looking you up again Brett for the seat covers.
I absolutely love these cars. The only thing mine was really missing was some grunt. Got it now though. Convenient hat the 81's had a chevy motor standard. Made for a straight bolt in for my roller 350.

You all have some awesome looking cars. Glad to have found y'all.
