Greetings all!

I'm Abe from Roy, UT, which is about 30 miles north of Salt Lake. I'm an active duty Air Force Officer currently stationed at Hill AFB, UT. Its real nice to find such an active TA community out there. Too bad you're all so far away!

Hey there Abe and welcome to the 78TA.com family.  I work at HQ ACC on Langley and deal with the 388 FW out at Hill every now and then.  Take care and hope to hear about and see your Trans Am!

Rich, I prefer Chair Force, thank you very much ;)

Bobby, I'm actually on the 75ABW side; the 388th is a tenet unit. Small world, last Friday I re-deployed a group of Langley maintainers. Gotta love 100+ rowdy crew chiefs...yikes.

Hello all.
My name is Brian. I live in Northern Virginia.
When I met my wife of 19 years, one of the first things I saw was a beautiful brown 1979 Trans Am in her parent's driveway. Come to find out, the car was originaly Sundance Yellow but painted brown because her mom liked that color better.
After many years of neglect and my poking and proding (plus my father-in-law getting a case of Guillian-Barre and will never drive again), the in-laws have given me the car. It hasn't been driven in 8+ years and has been returned to some sort of yellow thanks to an "Earl Shibe's" type paint job (which I protested many times prior to it) about 10 years ago.
My wife drove the car to high school, and I would love to get it back into a presentable condition so my daughter could drive the same car to school her mom did.
facts:
Sundance yellow w/ gold bird & decals (as built)
403
automatic (obviously)
cloth seats
am/fm
a/c
tilt
cruise
manual windows
steel ralley wheels
no t-tops
83,000 miles?
1956 Bel Air Sport Coupe
1983 Z-28
1979 Trans Am
2004 Harley Davidson Lowrider 1 of 75
