Any musicians out there?
« on: January 24, 2010, 09:47:52 AM »
I'd like to get ot know some folks so I don't feel like too much of an outsider here.  i'll be tapping this fountain of knowledge for answers quite a bit while building up my 79 TA.  I myself am a Drummer, and I also dabble in guitar.  Drumming I play a lot of classic rock and metal.  Guitarring I prefer blues and classic rock.  I played in a very good Led Zeppelin tribute band in Seoul, Korea with some awesome Canadians.

Anybody out there rockin'?

I mostly just dabble in things these days. Use to play a little drums, but mostly mess around with bass and guitar these days.
Hammer is the big rock star around here.

I play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass guitar. I don't have the rhythm to play drums ;)

I currently own a Gibson Les Paul Studio, a Gibson SG faded, a Takamine EG-335 Acoustic, and a Fender Jazz Bass sunburst.

As far as music, it's classic rock or nothing. Led Zeppelin, Boston, AC/DC, Van Halen, ZZtop, Rare Earth, Mountain, Aerosmith, Foreigner, Journey, Molly Hatchet, Eagles, etc...

I might have to get me a les paul at some paint. That is one sweet looking axe! I'm in Gretsch land right now and loving it. I started playing about 2 years ago and like to play rockabilly but will dabble with just about anything.

This is my 5120 with TV Jones Classics pickups, bar bridge, and custom pick guard.

This is my projet with GFS NYII pickups and I added the bigsby to this one.

I have two others but they are just cheap strats.
