Thinking of selling 1979 4.9L Trans-Am
« on: July 13, 2014, 09:20:51 PM »
Have a nocturne blue trans-am with camel interior.  Original 301 motor and automatic transmission which are in good working condition.  Just completed the interior with many new items (seat covers, door panels, headliner, carpet) and repainted all interior parts.  T-top car with very little rust.  Car has recently been repainted (by previous owner) but still needs some minor body work (door skins).  All bird decals recently added.  Added new brakes, transmission cooler and stereo system.  I have the build sheet and a lot of other documentation.  Runs great.
Any idea what this may be worth?  There seems to be a significant variance among the value sites.

Thanks.

Mark

the drive train in the later birds was not as popular as the earlier years.  that said, any T/A that runs/drives good, and looks half decent will always sell.  (some more pics/info would help you get a more accurate price)
