1970 vin number question base firebird
« on: February 07, 2012, 12:01:03 AM »
I purchased a project / parts car this weekend, it is a base firebird serial number 223870NI07500. I know I can pay the 65 for the PHS, but it is not worth it to me yet, just want opinions on if this was the 500th or 7500th off  the assy. line? Thanks Mark

PHS won't tell you that information. The answer is probably neither.

If I had to put money on it, it would be on the 7500th car off the Norwood assembly line.
Keep in mind that it does not nesesarily mean it's the 7500th Firebird, Camaros and Novas were also built there.
