sory for the delay in posting... depending on a few things (meaning condition which I am sure is top level or extremeely near it) but the price range is from low $4,200 , Mid (or average) $4,825 , to Top $7,225.... this is according to the NADA CONSUMER PRICING GUIDE.....

Rick,

You might have a look at listing it on 442.com. That would be your best Olds audience. They have car and auto parts clssifieds. I'm pretty sure the price is pretty cheap if not free.
Good luck,

Randy

Glad to help.

I have a 70 442 but I really like the 83-87 Cutlass body style too. In fact, my first car was also a 1970 442 in the early 80's and I used to drool over the 83 Hurst Olds when I saw one. I wanted one bad. Of coarse, now I see that they were basically an appearance package. The stock 442 I had then and the one I have now would smoke any stock 83 H/O or 80's 442. Still a nice looking car.

Good luck,
Randy

78ta, why dont you like the 81 or 82 cutlass? its the same as the 83-88 body with exception of 87-88 noses? i used to own a crap load of these and i had a 71 442 loved it wish i still had it but im a true bird kind of a guy. however when they came out with the 83 h/o it was sleek and what else did gm really have at that time that really compared to it? it was also the first year of the monte ss and that was only available white with blue decales and a bench seat for crying out loud.

Yeah, I started out with Cutlasses before I got my first 'bird. I want another '77 one day. I'm thinking that since Kevin has moved along from his I might finish the project myself if the '85 is still ok after the flood dries out. Then the '80 4dr I'm thinking would be a good first car for his sister if I find a decent little engine for it.

Rick,
I may have the exact years confused but I don't care for the block/squared front end of the 81/82 or so Cutlass'. Weren't there some years where the front end was different within the same model year depending on the body style? IE Supreme or Salon etc.  I know the 68-72's MUCH better than the later models but I like them all except the 79 maybe. The hatchback 442 was an embarrassment.

I like the front end that's on the car your selling. As you put it, it is more sleek looking.

I think you may mean the '78 - '80s. '81 like my old brown car was the first year of the nose like on Rick's car.

they ran that nose from 81-86 87-88 the grilles were smaller and they put in composite headlights. now 78-80 well thats an era that i really didnt like i had two but i treated them how i thought they looked.
