There's a big price difference between the 2, decide what's important, originality or just the look, save a lot of money while having many more to choose from. It's harder to find one that's not!

I would be up for a tribute it clone. I had a 78 se years ago, and sold it like an idiot . When I get one this time, it's for keeps.

Where in Kentucky are you?  I don't have a real SE right now, but having owned 5 real SE's- I ay get one at any time.  I have a '77 I am working on currently.  Thought about cloning it since it has new black paint on it now.
