79 Formula WS6 hood ?

What hood is on a 79 WS6 Formula? A Trans Am hood or the stock Formula hood?
Year:  1979 Firebird Formula (Daily Driver) ;)
CID:  462 Pontiac
Carburetion:  Two 600 CFM Holleys
Transmission:  Turbo 400 (3000 Stall)
Gear Ratio:  323

The only Formula's to ever get the TA hood were the 73-74 Super Duty cars. All 79 Formulas had the same hood.
1978 TA-462 ci Buick (just sold)
1980 Turbo Formula
1995 Grand Prix

Thanx for the info. I got a shaker from Hitman about a year ago. Cut it in half and extended it four inches. Made a dual quad tray to replace the single quad tray. Was gonna cut the Formula hood for the shaker like they did in CHIPS but I think ill go with a TA hood.;) There just is no clearance for air breathers under that stock Formula hood. That 462 needs to breath.

Lomile is correct about the shaker and formula scoops.

I bought a formula hood years ago to cut the center for a shaker scoop but never used it.

  I think the 80-81 turbo formulas also had the off set ta turbo hood and not the twin scoop design.
