Without looking up the code, displacement is embossed on the lower side of the block and in the lifter valley under the valley pan

Comes back as a 76 400 in one listing I looked at. But that's not to say others don't use same numbers. Appears to have a '75 casting date near dizzy that fits. Pontiac engines aren't my thing, what's mismatched?

After searching load of sites finally found one with  the info for my code.    Its a early 76 code YY... Casting 50057 late 75..
So we know have a code with a date..
