spent about 5 hours today on it. got the dog house off and the motor ready to pull. I need to cut the exhaust and that will be out. next weekend hoping to have the front frame off and broke down and ready to go to powder coat. my sub frame connectors came late last week and will go for powder coat to.

looks like me and you are at about the same place in progress it just took me 4 years cause I got my car when I was 12 and didnt know what I was doing. Bad thing is for right now I am putting a 305 or 327 SBC in it just to get it moving cause I have my fenders and the whole front end ready to put back on been off for a year, going back to the motor its just temporary til I get my 400 block built into a 461 Stroker like I want.

if your doing a stroker, use a older block 1975 and older there a better built block and can hold a lot of HP.

When I got the car it had the 481988 block I think is the casting number the orginial motor was blown up a long time ago.
