So according to a french forum, my rear configuration is fully stock excepted the tyres. I have currently 235 50 15 instead of 225 70 15.
They are thinking that my front springs have been cut by the previous owner.
You can see below the result:

is it a 235/60/15 ? I dont see a 235/50/15 tire.
Anyway if it is a 235/50/15 tire it is way to small for our cars.
I had a 235/60 in the front and a 245/60 in the rear on a previous T/A that I owned and it looked good, only thing is the front with the 235/60/15 was so low I could not fit a jack under it to lift it up to take the tire off.

I confirm 235 50 15 !!!
My last concern is the leaf springs. Should my TA have 4 or 5 leafs??
Best regards

I think 4 is normal and what my 77 has. Can't remember to be sure though. Either way, my rear end still sits up high. Haven't figured out why yet.

My Esprit came factory with the 5 leaf HD springs.  These springs gave the car a much softer ride and did not have performance in mind.  The 4 leaf version with 126/ sq/ in spring rate were in the ws6 optioned cars.   I refurbished and replaced the entire suspension with new WS6 replacement components 4 years ago.  It sits on 15x7 inch Rally IIs with 255/60 r/15 tires.  I will post a picture of the way the car sat completely factory with 225/70/15 tires and the way it sits today after the suspension and chassis modifications I have completed.  Hope they help you.

I also found this pic of my old pic of 1980 Formy.  It had 15x7 inch snowflakes with 245/60/15.

Mine sat a little high from the factory, too. I did much what Greenbird did and replaced my springs with aftermarket units. I went with Eibach 1" drop springs in front, and the Protouring Fbody GT springs in rear. It sits about like Greenbird's car in the second pic.
