Hey everyone. I just got done replacing the wornout 305 that originally in this bad boy. I have the 383 stroker in it all hooked up. But I am having some elctrical issues. The only thing that turns on is the head lights and tail lights. I have 12V on the Battery and the same on the Starter Stud. I check to see if there is 12V going into the fuse block and there is, but there is no blown fuse and everything is hooked up. I am completely and utterly confused and stumped. If anyone has some insight on what might be wrong, it would be much appreciated. Have a good one guys.

How are the fuseable links to the starter the two thin wires on the starter they could be bad. you could replace them.

take a hard look at your grounds. DC needs  a return path. most common thing is paint on block insulates the ground and stops the electrical path for the starter. all other electrical lines you can check using the OHM setting on meter. this will let you know if there is a break in the electrical path. chances that body electrical works and engine electrical does not, definately rasies the red flag on the main engine ground is bad. good luck and keep us posted.
