Title: Picture
Post by: Cbled56 on March 26, 2011, 03:09:59 PM
By chance does anyone happen to have an 1979 Olds powered 403 T/A that can snap a picture of their Temp sending unit and the connector end of the wire.  Reason I am asking is that the one I bought from Autozone is not functioning correctly, believe it is not correctly calibrated.  The sender has a jagged stem that the connector wire attaches to.  A catalogue i saw shows a sender with a smooth rod without flat tip or jagged sides like mine, the catalogue showed 3 different styles.  I would like to find out 2 things, one is the sending unit I have the correct style, and 2, is the wire connector correct or did someone replace it to work with an aftermarket style sender?

Thanks to other members prior help I have found out that the gauge does work.
Thanks for all the help!!
