Well after I got out of the Marines (and yes I was stationed at Pendelton), I decided there was a simple answer. Stay the hell out of California.

Not my place man. Makes me clostrophobic. Town to town to town to town with no deliniation except for a sign "Welcome to......". If my neighbors can see me piss off the back porch, they live WAY too close to me.

lol. You need to check out the northen part. Cali is a BIG place. Redding Cali is much better. I lived near riverside for about 6 months and it wasnt fun so I know what you mean. Check out MT Shasta. I used to go snowboarding on that thing three days a week.
