I was reading a post and they mentioned a Tach filter on or in the HEI? I did not want to hijack the thread, but I have never heard of a Tach filter. The vehicle mentioned was a 76 and I know that mid year 78 they switch from the Tach wire having a fuse on it, do you think that is what they were talking about a fuse instead of a filter. I have problems with my Tach on my 79 sticking at around 2700 RPMs and was just wondering if there is a Tach filter that I don't have installed causing my problem.
