the rotating drumset thing was the tour for the second show i saw.  only at the show in my town tommy was "not feeling well"  & wasn't able to perform the spinning parts.  it just rose up & turned around slowly during the drum solo.  we got robbed of the spinning part because he likely had a hangover from the previous nights show.  or maybe he was really sick, either way i was mad i didnt get to see that part.     :'(

Mike, looking forward to seeing and hearing some stuff from your band man! 8)

Okay, in order to jog my memory, I had to look at my iTunes library, as my mother tossed the stack of ticket stubs when she got mad at me after I had moved out but before I had collected all of my things. :(  Some of these may have been openers for others, but considering how many brain cells I burned up, then and since, I couldn't tell you for sure. ;)   I'm sure I'm missing a few...

AC/DC x1 w/Bon, x3 w/Brian
Aerosmith x2
Air Supply  (Don't ask, but it was worth it after it was over)
Alabama
Blackfoot
Black Sabbath 1/2 a show with Ozzy, x1 w/Dio
Bob Seger
Bon Jovi
Boston x2
The Cars
Cheap Trick (Spring Break Daytona, 1988 I think)
Def Leppard x4
The Eagle (Long Road Out of Eden Tour, possibly the best concert I have ever attended)
Fleetwood Mac
Foreigner
Heart x2
Iron Maiden x2
Jimmy Buffett x?
Journey x2
Judas Priest x2
Kansas
KISS x3
Lynyrd Skynyrd (after the accident...never had a chance to see the "original" lineup)
Motley Crue x3
Night Ranger
Ozzy x2 (have yet to see a show with him that has been acceptable)
Pink Floyd x3
Poison
Queen
Quiet Riot
RATT
REO Speedwagon
Robert Plant
Rolling Stones x2
RUSH x3, maybe 4
Sammy Hagar x2 (but none w/ Van Halen)
Scorpions x2
Steve Miller Band
Styx x3
Ted Nugent (couldn't begin to tell you how many times, seemed he was always in Palm Beach)
Vandenburg
Van Halen x5
Warrant
Whitesnake x2
Yes
ZZ Top x4
38 Special

I'll add more later if I remember....

I have said a few times that I would have liked to have been born a few years earlier so I could catch more acts that I am into, and I was born in '66 as it is.

Ive been told that by quite a few people. I only have two friends around my own age. Everyone else is mid 30's or older. Just the crowd I like and I am always learning something. The old gear heads are fun to hang around with.

Just saw this, looks like I may have to make a trip this Summer!

Def Leppard, Poison, Cheap Trick To Tour Together This Summer

http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2009/02/26/def-leppard-poison-cheap-trick-to-tour-together-this-summer/

Mid-’80s rock radio is going to come alive in the nation’s amphitheatres this summer as Def Leppard, Cheap Trick and Poison join forces for a full summer tour. “We’re going out with three bands, which limits the amount of time we can play to about 90 minutes. When you do your greatest hits and some new material or extra stuff you might throw in, you have got to push and shove and clamp down,” Def Leppard’s Joe Elliot told Billboard.com. To avoid the expected concert industry slump this summer he adds, “We’ve taken the path of least resistance, we’ve put a bill together that we think is attractive.”

The tour has something for all rock fans, from Poison’s hair-metal antics to Cheap Trick’s classic power pop to Def Leppard’s….. well, what exactly was Def Leppard anyway? When Rolling Stone talked with Elliot back in 2006, he was quick to confront the popular belief that the band was “hair-metal” or “heavy metal.” “We may have once accidentally… had one picture taken that let the hair dresser run riot with the hair spray,” Elliot said. “But generally speaking, we were a long-haired band. If we’re hair metal, so are Led Zeppelin. Warrant and Ratt were hair metal, we’re not. We were always better than that. If you came from the L.A. metal strip thing, Motley Crue, Ratt, Poison, Warrant, whatever. And we get lumped in with that, I don’t get it.” So what genre would Elliott consider the band to be? “We belong in the same kind of category as Van Halen are. It’s just rock.” It’s interesting that a band trying to distance themselves from hair-metal would tour with a band synonymous with Aqua-Net, but desperate economic times call for desperate measures.

Lets face it. I didn't get to see any of the true legends... =( But I have had my share of shows/ concert
Only 20 and I cant really call any one from my time legends in my opinion. But I have seen

Bad Religion
Circle Jerks
Zapp & Rogger
Anti- flag
The Toasters
The Slackers
Rancid
NOFX
Dick Dale
The Unseen
John Fogerty
The Addicts
ZZ
The Vandals
Adolescents
Suicidal tendencies
War
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Voodoo Glow Skulls
Leftover Crack/ Choking Victim ( Actually Had the oppertunity to play with these guys while the band was together)
Streetlight Manifesto
Suicide Machines
The Black Keys ( one of my favorites)
Santana
Citizen Fish

Ohhh the list goes on and on... Coachella, Warped Tour, and the newest Tradition, Reggae Rising Music Festival,
With those alone you see many, I was a little wild  up until I hit 18 and little beyond that. Plus I was in a Punk/ska-corish band through out high school and a little beyond, so was able to see more that way too, we were close but then collage hit the singer and guitarist =(. Years I will never forget thats for sure....
