Need some help on a 1980 TransAm

A freind is restoring a 1980 with the turbo 301 engine.  Problem is he needs a new distributor for it and can't seem to find one.  Anybody give any good tips, even the correct part number would help.  Thanks in advance.

Welcome to 78TA!  You will probably want to chat with 78TA member jjr.  Joe Richter is a 301 fan and he's got a ton of information about them, including the correct part numbers like you need.  He'll be along shortly -- he seems to be able to sniff out 301 questions like a bloodhound! ;)
