WS6 Front sway bar question....
« on: April 07, 2009, 09:01:26 PM »
I have a 1981 WS6 Trans Am, is the front sway bar 1 1/8 inch or 1 1/4 inch ????
I'm replacing the bushings, would you guys use rubber or poly ??

                                                                       Thanks, Dwayne

i would use the poly. i was watching tv one day and the guy said why put old technology in a car then you will have old performance. unless you wanna make it completly original for shows but id use poly

all T/As got the 1 1/4" front bar not just the WS6, use a poly bushing kit for the sway bar it will make it more effective.

Use the grease on the poly bushings or they will squeak alot.
