had a good time today, went to a local car show in the next town over from mine. there was about 160 cars there. 4 t/a's and a bunch of 68/9 camaro's. that was the class I was put in, 67-81 camaro/firebird class. so I didnt think I had a shot in placing in this Chevy town.
I also got to hang out a little with a fellow Ohio Firebird member, and his 77 SE.
here is a few pics of the show

sweet, I was at the cincy street rods car show at butler county fairgrounds today and there was over 600 cars. Out of all those cars was my 79 ta and a 78 silver ta. It seemed like the only cars that won were pre 1950's lol. I don't quite understand that but it was cool seeing all the cars

I was at the same show. I don't know how many cars were there, but I heard them call car #599 for a door prize. I have taken my T/A there before, but it seems pretty much out of place. I have a '65 Impala SS that I have taken to that show for the last couple of years.
Is yours the gold '79 T/A I sometimes see on Main Street in Hamilton on Saterday evenings?
-
yes it is. There was a silver 78 at the back of the show that was real sweet. Went to quaker steak n lube tonight and there was a very nice black 79 ta
-
Quaker Stake and Lube on Colerain? I've never been there for cruise night.
I'm in Hanover Township. where are you?
-

Congrats Doug !!! Looked like lots of fun.. I like those shows , too.. I went to a show at Lane Automotive in Watervilet , Mich on the 29th --- about 1400 cars there !!! The place looked kind of like MIS before a race -- without tailgates and beer--- LOL !!!
-
Ive never been to the show where your picture was taken. We do have a cruise in every Saturday night by the burger king and in the kroger parking lot on the west side of Hamilton. I went to Springfield show yesterday and checked out the blue 79 ta for sale. We had him fire it up. Not a bad car for under 10,000
-
check this link out 4speed its where I found your car.

thanks for the link. he must of marked it down, he had 10,500 on it Sat. what was he asking for it? I just dont feel a K car is worth of 10k (yet) I had that interior in my first 79 (PITA to keep clean)
-
he knocked a grand off. what is a k car besides the one chrysler used to put out. lol
-
the K in your vin # on your dash is code for the 403 olds
