Cool pictures!  Thanks for taking them and posting them.  Are you ready to address the "heat always on" thing yet? ??? ???

Ohh yeah. Just have to figure out what I'm going to do. I think I'll retrace everything and I might fork out some additional $$ to get a 160 high flow t-stat along with a starter heat shield as I'm tired of the hot start issues too. Still working through all the bugs...If nothing else, I'm learning for the next one :)

Very nice! Looks like the one we have here once a year. In fact, if the weather is nice it is supposed to be this weekend.

This one looks like my dad's old truck. He loves the late '60s F100s.

But I have to ask this, why is it they feel the need to put these on during the week? Same thing happens here. Fargo has a cruise once a month, but it's on a Thursday. The local club I joined has it's meetings on Fridays. I miss every one because I work.

Larry,

It's because Sat/Sun are generally reserved for car shows ;)

That may be true for NY.  ;)

Nah that's small for this cruise. Normally the park is full and they have overflow of a fourth block. So I'd say somewhere north of 100 cars weekly - and they change, ie you don't see all the same cars each week. There's also a 50/50, door prizes, food in the park, stores give discounts, etc. Bars love it on the street as there's a good biker contingent too!

The pics I took were just a small sampling...I pretty much skipped over the Corvettes of Buffalo contingent and the modern Mustangs.

Larry - Yeah I thought you'd enjoy that parts hauler ;) First time I'd seen that particular car there. Most of the others I catch at other cruise nights.

Rob,

Akron is 30 min east of Buffalo or 30 min west of Batavia (or 1 hour from Rochester). I'm pre-reg'd for Saratoga but I'm rethinking actually driving the car there. It's really been on the road only a couple months so the 4.5 hour trip with the heat stuck on might be a little much for me to handle. It'll be a game day decision if I'm trailering it there or driving.

I've got family on the Island and in Carmel - drove through that region last summer to visit my aunt in CT.

I have family on the Island too!  and I live in Mahopac, which is right next to Carmel!  haha what a small world!
i'm gonna head up to the show at Saratoga, but I'm not going to bring my T/A. its about 3 hours for me, and my fuel line and brake lines have seen better days, if you know what i mean. they are okay so far, (fingers crossed) but i'm just paranoid about them. i do not have the money right now to do it, hopefully next year
