I bought a pair of what I was told were mint JW rims from Jim. As soon as I got them I noticed the stampings looked odd like there was tampering. I paid good money for these and bought them on his word. I contacted him to discuss the issues and he refuses to respond and make things right. Now it looks more and more that they may not even be JW rims but possible KN's that were restamped. I don't know exactly what they are, what I do know is they are not what the seller described when I bought them in good faith. This seller has refused to rectify the situation and shown no integrity in this matter even thoug I gave him several chances before posying anything on the matter. If you do deal with him, please be sure you know what you are getting before giving him the money. I posted some of the situation in the general discussion section asking for opinions on JW wheels and there is also a long post on the situation over on PY.

Did you pay using paypal?  If so file a dispute!!!  It's always worth the couple extra bucks to make the seller send you an invoice, I never buy or sell anything without sending or receiving a paypal invoice.  That way your protected againt this kind of stuff

No, he insisted on a money order. Now I know why. I trusted his word based on what I thought was a good reputation. I posted everything over on PY  when it all went down and notified him of the post. I gave him the opportunity to make it right before I called him out publicly.He never responded to any of my messages or tried to defend himself after I called him out. The pics don't lie.I noticed he hasn't made any post over there in several weeks, but before this he was frequenting the site a few times daily and the posts were somewhat frequent. It is sad that a lot of people have a price that will buy their integrity.

I do agree. And thanks for the support. After several several unreturned cell phone and forum messages I was able to retrieve his home number and as I was leaving my message he picked up we kind of went back and forth for a minute then he agreed to work it out with me. He has told me that he took a lot of heat on the subject over on PY from guys he dealt with for years. He does still maintain that he didn't realize the wheels had issues, but has acknowledged that they do indeed. We came to an agreement and he has compensated me. I am happy he finally did right by me, but it is a shame he didn't just address it with me in the beginning when I gave him the chance. I never would of called him out publicly.
