Well I post this every year for anyone in the Toledo Area that might wanna go. There were 4 of us from the site last year with a few other 2nd gens. Lots of cars with a lot of variety. Not sure if my car will be coming this year or not yet but banditalex goes every year with his car. Maybe a group can meet up and head over/park together again.

Here's the info :
9-9-2012

ME TOO!

Sweet!

Alex, thanks for your help today. Got both heads bolted on. But not before breaking another socket and having to run and get another torque wrench. Didn't have the correct sealer for the valley pan though so I probably won't be starting it tomorrow.

Amanda likes the Caddy's

This is my landlord's. He has a ton of tiny cars of different makes. To each his own :) He was giving free rides to kids around the baseball diamond)

This is Amanda's favorite from the show.

This is for my dad. He has a yellow '76 TR6

That's it for the show. These last 3 are of a Formula I saw in the U.P. a little north of the Mackinac bridge on my way back from vacation in July. Didn't look too bad especially considering being up in the U.P. I forgot to get the pics off the GF's camera so here they are.

Enjoy!

Let me first start off by saying that those were amazing cars. ;D Makes me really wish I had the money now to put my bird in the shop and atleast get it in primer, but that's gonna have to wait till this Feb. Now, as far as that "donk" goes. Amazing car except those rims make it look retarded. I just saw a really nice done up caprice this last weekend at the mall and it was on those stupid rims and I made sure to let the guy driving now that it looked retarded. Why would someone put all that money into a car and then ruin it with oversized rims. I can't believe how that even caught on as a craze. I wouldn't put anything over 18's on any car. Save those bigger rims for a truck. I'm sorry I understand to each there own, however I also have the right to voice my opinion. Okay rant over. 8)

Happy to post them. Squirrel, yea there were more birds than years past. Seems like every year a few more show up. Last year Mongo, Meat, banditalex and I took ours. There were still probably 8 other 2nd gen birds in addition to our 4. There were a few more 3rd and 4th gens there last year but it was still a good show. No judging, just dash plaques for the first 1500.

4saken, you're preaching to the choir lol. I posted that picture as a joke essentially. Not my cup of tea but different lol.
