2008 Bandit Run at Bristol Motor Speedway
« on: June 08, 2008, 09:45:09 PM »
Sorry it has taken so long to get these pictures uploaded.  These are the pics that I took at Bristol Motor Speedway during the Bandit Run.  Looked like everyone was having a blast.  Wishing that I was out there with them.  Drooling on the cars as they through the gate on the way out of the track.

Great pix. What kind of speed did they keep you to on the pace laps?  Ok, well did they TRY to anyway?

It was really anywhere between 55 up to just a little over 70... The parade lap for the SE's was more like 25... not fast enough... My understanding is that the professional drivers at Bristol hit 140 on that track... trust me... 70 might sound wimpy... but it was a real challenge... it was an absolute blast... So much fun...

One of the guys in front of me took this vid... I got a cameo in the side mirror a few times hahahahaha...

Oh, did I ever want to be out there.  I was just hoping to get to the speedway in time to get into the pits with everyone, but didn't get there until about 4:00 PM.  It was really nice to meet you all, I'm looking forward to the Nationals to meeting up with everyone.
