Now I remember why porting heads is expensive........Its a PITA and a makes a mess everywhere. I did my heads today. They came out OK. Still need a touch up but not bad.

Thanks for the compliments. Ive only ported a couple time before and last time was 18 years ago.

Glyptal is an industrial paint used mainly in electric motors. It is also used in machines, engines and rear axles. It helps with oil return and is more for racing engines then stockers. It helps with oil return to the block by sealing up the porous castings. Easy to clean too if you ever have to pull your engine apart. Looks nice too(even though no one will ever see it).

Cool...I like the idea and I like the look of it

You say it is not ideal for a stocker type application?

How come?

It is Great for stockers too just alot if time thats all.

Nice port polishing and (I assume) gasket matching on the heads.  It looks like a PITA....dod you use a dremmel to do that?  I did the same on my intake and it came out nice but took a long time to get it right.  NICE WORK!

Does Ginger help with any of this?  LOL

Air die grinder. Ginger has been busy with a kitchen remodel. He will help put the fenders back on though.
